can discover the last edition of the Watercolours Biennial :
Since
2003, the Biennial Event of watercolours of Brioude is a national
artistic and festive rendez-vous of the summer and should not
be missed.
During two weeks, the public is invited to go off to explore
the town and its 30 watercolours exhibitions, which are spread
out in about twenty places of the historic centre. Over 1000
original works will be exhibited, all being a source of discovery,
pleasure and emotion. It is a lively festival, during which
watercolourists share and celebrate their common passion with
the public in a climate of exchange, conviviality and festivities.
Thus, many activities led by the artists
take place in the exhibition places but also outdoors, in
the streets and squares of the town: all-level watercolours
workshops, demonstrations and courses; thematic screenings,
lectures and talks about watercolours..
